Avery is dedicated to contributing to a safe, inclusive environment for artists of all races, gender identities, and sexual orientations. They want to connect with other multidisciplinary artists through sharing their passion and knowledge of movement.
About
Avery Wilde (they/them) aims to be an authentic mover and an honest artist. They obtained a BFA in dance with a modern concentration from Point Park University. At Point Park, they had the opportunity to study under legends such as Jae Man Joo, Jason McDole and Jesse Factor. In Pittsburgh, they also danced for Shana Simmons Dance. In 2023, they moved to Chicago to start dancing with Noumenon Dance Ensemble and later, Modern Marvels Dance Company and 773 Dance Project. While living in Chicago, they’ve also had the chance to perform and work with The Seldoms, Jessi Stegall, Echo Modern Dance Collective and Sildance Acrodanza.
